thoughts: the (sort of)great debate...

Cool. so i talked to alvin chan yesterday. helped me resolve some of my issues, but i guess there are some things that aren't that easy to resolve.

sometimes i think that i care too much. but he said that he'd rather me be that way that care too little or not at all. herein lies the problem--caring to much.

Mel says i shouldn't stop caring. i agree with that. that's a gift i've been given and something i can use to help other people. but when the result of your caring leaves you emotionally confused, then where does friendship end and 'that other feeling' begin? how do i even know what i'm feeling is true, and not what i think it is?

went out with Gen on Monday, watched 'Win a date with Tad Hamilton'. Was like deja vu... Since i went out with Jiahui to watch '50 first dates', and the day passed pretty much the same. Managed to prove that my theory that romantic comedies is bad for a guy's emotional health. but maybe that's cos the film sort of reminded me of what i was feeling, so that's why i feel the way i did.
