[transmission start]Thoughts: Staring into the abyss... and getting pulled out just in time....
It's often said that when you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back into you. I'd add a twist.... The longer you stare into it, the deeper you go. you may not necessarily be falling into it, but you sure will feel like it. and if you're not careful, you will.
The longer you stare, the worse and worse it will get, the feelings you have will be more and more depressing, because you're just looking into the depths of darkness, and there's no way you can not feel depressed. the darkness just swallows you whole. it's been said that if anyone has been left in complete darkness for a long enough time, that person has the potential to go mad, because there is absolutely nothing, and the only thing you can do is retreat into the recesses of your own mind, and that's why people can go crazy.
that's where you're friends come in. the more and more hopeless the whole thing seems, the deeper and deeper you seem to go into the abyss, somehow once you let them know, they will pull you out(if they didn't then you can't really call them your friends). It may take a while, depending how far you've fallen into the abyss, but you can trust them to pull you out. slowly but surely.
thanks guys, for helping me come out of the spiralling depression.
till next time...
