thoughts: And then there was one... the exodus of many...

GEECH will no longer exist as of August 04. All the original members have 'disappeared' in some way. All that's left is Veritas, truthfully speaking (incidentally Veritas means truth. No pun intended).

Jon Ong is leaving on Saturday. Never thought it'd happen. I guess everyone's gotta move on to other things in their lives. Going to Melbourne to do interior design. Truthfully, i never really was that close to Jon. Don't ask why. We've been in the same cg for years, and well... I guess Veritas is a whole new ballgame... new people, new role, new direction. When Tiax goes off in August to US to study on scholarship in Wesleyan, then the final chapter on GEECH can be closed. and i'll be more or less left to keep the cg going (jie calls it holding the fort. which is what her cg is sorta doing too...)

somehow everything's happening at once, and before you can recover from the blow, you're hit by another one. I haven't been through anything like this since GIA Australia exodus. It took my cg at the time at least 3 trips(of the Aussie members leaving that is) to finally be able not to be affected by the disruptive coming and going... and not to feel depressed every time they left...

It doesn't end there. Ruperto's left too. at around 5 in fact. Never really knew 'Pert for that long, only after coming out of my anonymity. But yesterday i realised that i look up to him as a big brother, the role model i never had (thanks to dad. No intention to rhyme). and now, before i can learn enough from him, he's going. Sure, there's email, but it's just not the same. back to square 1... Well, it's only KL and hope the bro comes back every once in a while... thank God for email...
