[transmission start]thoughts: thinking about the way you feel...
feelings mess around with your head. they defy logic, get on your nerves, and sometimes... sometimes can drive you crazy. They can't be trusted, always are temporary, and are highly dependent on other factors. i should know. somehow, when it comes to these things, i just do. don't ask why.
The best part of the whole thing is that you can get different kinds of feelings mixed up. some are so similar, and that's why you can get confused between them. the stupid 'like' feelings are the worst. really the worst. they apply on so many different levels and if you're not careful, it's really easy to get them mixed up. sometimes, they can wreck something good, because there was difficulty distinguishing between them. apparently both parties didn't feel that it was on the same 'level'. this isn't to scare you into not getting into anything, but it's true - and sometimes the truth hurts, even though they say it may set you free. that's why they say that you should never really say it (what you really feel) till you're sure. dead sure. otherwise, it'll get messy.
then again, life is all about risks and half-chances (according to Jiahui) , where you have to jump, with no time to think.sometimes you make it, sometimes you don't. and sometimes it hurts... you can't sit around all day looking back and wondering about those great 'if only's.... don't you just hate the fact that it makes the whole situation worse?
feelings can affect your decisions, cause you to be impulsive and in some cases do things that you later regret (boy, you have no idea how many times that's happened). Relationships have been messed up because of these things, and yet, it's funny. can't live with 'em, and can't live without 'em.
makes you wonder what they're really for... if all they do for a large part is cause hurt. of course you love all the times you felt happy and that, but how long does that last in comparison to the hurt that you feel from a bad memory?
well, i'm glad to say that at least i've *somehow* managed to sort them out a little. after a really long time, have realised where the problem lay and why it keeps happening. because i don't identify it to be what it really is. now that i have, that's a different story. and that's why i've been advised that whenever you really want to tell a person how you feel - be careful. especially if you're not very certain if what you're feeling is truly what you think it is.
feeling confused? (no pun intended)
i'll leave you with something i thought about - when it comes to love and that all-troublesome wondering if you 'like' a person. my own quote, by the way.
"there are 3 kinds of people when it comes to love - the romantics, the hopeless romantics, and those that are basically just hopeless"
till next time...
