thoughts: end of the road trip....

right. as promised, i'll update you guys on what went on during the meeting between us and our dad at our grandma's place. ok, so i'll (grudgingly) admit that my mum was right. i DO feel better about it. and i daresay the rest would also (grudgingly) agree.

well... thank God there was the TV. it made things a LOT easier (and i do mean A LOT). now you'd expect a dad who hasn't seen his kids for dunno how many months to have a lot of things to say to them right? WRONG. unfortunately due to popular misconception, my dad is NOT like that. there wasn't much conversation. a bit of like a Q & A session actually (though on retrospect maybe that's better than nothing at all). so for those long silences between questions, the time was filled with TV watching (maybe TV isn't half as bad as everyone makes it out to be).

so now that's over and done with, life goes on.
