[transmission start]thoughts: some things always hurt more...
every group (even a society or civilization) is like a machine so to speak. The big wheels turn, the little wheels turn, and the machine keeps functioning. if someone were to throw a spanner into the works, the machine would break down, simple as that. or something even as simple as 1 small wheel not moving with the machine will cause it to *start to* break down. the role of the people making the machine work is to make sure everything is in sync, that the machine keeps on working. (kudos to mr Pratchett for his fine analogy)
They say speculation is a dangerous thing, but sometimes there's some truth in it. and sometimes if various forms of specualtion about the same issue get round, you find what's similar and from there you *somehow* manage to see if not the whole picture but at least an understandable part of it.
so i'm looking at the picture (or part of it anyway). and i see one of the wheels in the machinery acting up - which as mentioned earlier would imply the eventual breakdown of the machine. it doesn't take a separation of functions of the machine to make it break down. just a wheel / cog not working in sync.
sometimes one of the parts of the machinery which came with a guarantee / assuarance of quality screws up (pardon the pun). and i feel that sometimes that can be the most disappointing of all. because you had so much trust. so much faith.
i would've asked boss if could help with this issue. but thinking about it, what could i have said? what could i have done? maybe only make things worse. There are somethings that concern you but you just have to realise that you're unable to do anything much (save for maybe listen). this is not shaping up to be a good sem. not. at. all.
but on a lighter note.... chris' unofficial countdown to post 100 :) . current post count: 97.
till next time...
