thoughts: all change...

if its one thing i think people are wary about (if not afraid) is change. change upset routines, shake up 'life as we know it'. it drags us out of our comfort zones and forces us to look at things in an alternative way. basically, change means things become DIFFERENT.

unfortunately its something that you can't avoid (pretty much the same way you can't avoid death and taxes - ok so maybe you can evade taxes but definitely not death). the thing about change is that it's unpredictable. sure sometimes you can preempt the change (in terms how much it'll affect you, but there's still that element of unpredictability to it), but you can never be for sure.

the uncertainty of change is what makes people wary of it, because it can go either way - good or bad, and even then may not be immediately obvious... like how it can start good then change to bad (but no one ever said the reverse couldn't be true).

whatever it is, change happens. whether we like it or not. whether we expect it or not. and we have no control over it.
