thoughts: never can quite run away...

Its an interesting thought (to me at least). That there's just some things you can't run away from. In my case, that would be publicity. Its one of those things you can't quite ever 'retire' from if you know what i mean. I've tried to, believe me. and it didn't work.

Some people say that they can't leave their passion because its in their blood. others say because its their life. for me? well i think basically there's no way of running away from it. because of the training and the mentality that has been adopted. the mentality that every poster you see invariably gets analysed, that every time you're presented the opportunity to try and improve a design you'll grab it, much as you don't want to.

some people could call it staying power. but it seems more like an entrapment i think. because people are so used to you doing it they come to expect it. so much so that no matter how jaded you feel or reluctant you are, you'll do it anyway. there's no passion in that, i'd be the first to admit.
